Bars are lightweight, smooth, straight and slot comfortably together, making our bars the perfect wooden frames for mounting canvas print. Stretcher bars do not require glue for assembly. Instead they incorporate milled, tenon joints and corner wedges, allowing the stretcher sar to be adjustable. Stretcher bars are available in every 2 inch increments from 6" - 72" so you can make the perfect size canvas frame to suit your image ratio. As essential in todays 'centrally heated' environment all our canvas frames are kiln dried to an 8% or less moisture content - The less moisture left in the stretcher bars the less likely the canvas frames are to warp! |
